Nearly three hundred notes are packed into about thirty seconds in this C major dance, most of them right-hand sixteenths, some gathered into chords of up to three notes. No. 34 belongs to the first part of Traditioner af Swenska Folk-Dansar. Published in Sweden in the early nineteenth century in three parts, the collection gathers anonymous traditional tunes and sets them for keyboard.

In C major and 3/4. The right hand moves busily, mainly in sixteenth notes, with chords of up to three notes. The left hand is almost all eighth notes, keeping a steady pulse low down between C2 and G3. Many notes are packed into a short span, and the right-hand activity stands out. Within its short span, the right-hand sixteenths supply the piece's energy.

It is rated intermediate, and with 290 notes in 30 seconds it holds many notes for its length. The challenge is to keep the right-hand sixteenths even and mesh them exactly with the left-hand eighths.
