An early student-like work Satie wrote in his teens, lasting a mere seventeen seconds with just 126 notes. Despite its brevity, it is written in a fairly conventional style quite different from his later idiosyncratic voice, requiring brief but focused concentration at an advanced level.

Erik Satie (1866-1925)
Erik Satie was a French composer from Honfleur who worked in Montmartre's cabarets while pursuing a highly individual musical aesthetic. Known for spare, understated music and whimsically titled works, he later influenced minimalist and ambient music.
