Description
This famously eccentric piece consists of a brief, dissonant fragment carrying the instruction to be repeated 840 times, making the repetition itself central to the work's meaning. It later became known for marathon performances, notably one organized by John Cage. The notes themselves are few and technically undemanding, but sustaining focus through the extended repetition is its real challenge.
A broad collection of standalone piano pieces not belonging to any specific set, offering hundreds of varied character pieces to explore and compare.
