Written in 1914 as incidental music for a production of Shakespeare's 'A Midsummer Night's Dream,' this piece reflects its title through expressive, almost caricature-like gestures. Erik Satie (1866-1925)
Erik Satie was a French composer from Honfleur who worked in Montmartre's cabarets while pursuing a highly individual musical aesthetic.
