Description
The first movement of the Moonlight Sonata sustains a quiet triplet accompaniment throughout, above which a simple melody gently floats. Maintaining soft dynamics with controlled endurance, along with careful pedaling to blend the harmonies, is essential to creating its dreamlike, introspective atmosphere across roughly four and a half unbroken minutes.
