Description
The second movement of the Moonlight Sonata shifts away from the stillness of the first movement into a light, charming minuet-like idea. Technically undemanding, it functions almost like a brief interlude between the two more intense outer movements, offering contrast within the sonata's overall arc. With relatively few notes and a duration of under three minutes, it remains approachable for beginners.
