Description
K.474 in E-flat major shares its key with the neighboring K.475, and the two are thought to form a paired set. The melodic line unfolds carefully at a measured pace, sustaining a gentle sense of contour within the single movement. Its character stands out most clearly when heard in contrast with the following K.475.
Sonatas across a range of instrumentations, including piano parts from violin sonatas, spanning Classical to Romantic styles.
