Its full title, "The Happy Farmer Returning from Work," reflects the bright mood of a day's harvest completed. At a compact 48 seconds and 352 notes, its syncopated rhythm gives the piece a lively bounce. Rated beginner level, it remains a popular choice for student recitals.
