Description
This is "The Wild Horseman," the eighth and most famous piece from Schumann's 1848 collection Album for the Young, Op.68. Staccato touches and strong accents depict a wildly galloping horse. Lasting only 38 seconds with 417 notes, it is fast-paced and full of tension. Though rated beginner level, it offers both the fun of performance and useful technical focus in keeping its staccato crisp.
