Description
Written in Mozart's late period, this B-flat major sonata is built by patiently developing simple thematic material. Though a version with added string accompaniment is also known, the solo piano version stands complete on its own. At around eighteen minutes and over nine thousand notes, it is a composed, advanced-level work that calls for maintaining a clear, transparent sound throughout.
