Description
This lively bourrée belongs to Bach's French Suite No. 5. In contrast to the calm Allemande, it establishes a bouncy, buoyant character in duple meter. Intermediate in level with a moderate duration but relatively sparse note count, it calls for a clear sense of the downbeat and crisp articulation of its leaping figures.
