Description
As the final piece in Bach's 1723 set of fifteen Three-Part Sinfonias, this B minor work, No.15, carries a darker, more introspective color than many of its companions. Despite lasting only 77 seconds and containing 708 notes, it is densely contrapuntal, with close imitation between voices that brings the set to a fittingly concentrated, advanced-level close.
