Description
This piece is wrapped in the soft, rounded warmth typical of E-flat major. With only 427 notes over a relaxed 124 seconds, it is one of the more spacious Sinfonias, giving players time to shape phrases and pass melodic lines between voices with care. A calm, dignified character defines the work.
