This solemn B minor piece closes the set of fifteen Sinfonias. Though compact at 86 seconds and 670 notes, it concentrates profound depth and flawlessly constructed counterpoint, giving the pedagogical collection a fittingly weighty conclusion. It is classified as an advanced piece.
