Giuseppe Verdi

DifficultyIntermediate
Duration2:43

Description

This Bacchanalian Chorus depicts the sound of carnival revelry drifting in from outside, set against the silence of Violetta's sickroom. The contrast between the quiet interior and the lively world beyond gives the music its dramatic effect. Short in duration and with relatively few notes, it offers intermediate players a compact study in buoyant rhythm and light articulation.

A broad collection of standalone piano pieces not belonging to any specific set, offering hundreds of varied character pieces to explore and compare.
