Description

Played at Adagio tempo, the fifth variation is the most introspective of the set, richly ornamented and requiring careful shaping of each note within a slow tempo. At about four minutes, it is the longest variation and serves as an emotional centerpiece within the set's tempo contrasts.

Mozart's most famous piano sonata, consisting of a theme-and-variations first movement, a minuet, and the celebrated "Turkish March."
