Description
No. 8 fits 143 notes into just 17 seconds, giving it a brisker character than the previous piece. Handling that many notes in so little time helps develop quick, accurate finger movement. It offers an efficient way to check basic technique within its compact eight-bar form.
A set of 160 short studies by Czerny, each condensed into just eight measures so a single technical point can be worked on quickly. Their brevity makes them well suited to beginners building basic piano technique efficiently.
