Description

No. 12 has a well-balanced density of 161 notes across 31 seconds. The pace is calm enough to focus on shaping the phrase as a coherent unit. Even in its brief eight-measure form, it rewards careful attention to tone and a sense of moderate, unforced tempo.

A set of 160 short studies by Czerny, each condensed into just eight measures so a single technical point can be worked on quickly. Their brevity makes them well suited to beginners building basic piano technique efficiently.
