Description
No. 14 is quite dense, containing 179 notes in just 13 seconds. Getting through that many notes in so little time tests both finger speed and accuracy. As a highly concentrated eight-measure study, it also helps sharpen focus, almost like a short sprint at the keyboard.
A set of 160 short studies by Czerny, each condensed into just eight measures so a single technical point can be worked on quickly. Their brevity makes them well suited to beginners building basic piano technique efficiently.
