Description

As the title "Catch Me" suggests, this piece depicts children chasing one another in play. It is characterized by rapid, unceasing passagework that dashes forward without pause. Despite being one of the shortest pieces in the set, its 265 notes must be played with real momentum, making it stand out for its sheer speed.

A suite of 13 pieces Schumann composed in 1838, including "Träumerei," evoking an adult's poetic recollection of childhood.
