Description
No. 23 belongs to the collection of short pieces Czerny wrote for daily technical grounding. Its 692 notes packed into 28 seconds sit in tightly spaced figuration, training quick switches between fingers. While Czerny also produced large-scale collections such as the "School of Velocity," Op. 299, this single short piece already offers a solid, self-contained workout. Though intermediate, keeping the notes even under tempo demands real concentration.
Forty intermediate-level daily studies by Czerny, suited for everyday practice of a variety of techniques.
