Description
No. 17 from Czerny's late-career pedagogical set, the "40 Daily Exercises," compresses 561 notes into just 23 seconds. The rapid shifts between fine figurations put fingertip agility to the test. It shows the same lean, efficient figuration typical of Czerny's studies as a whole. Brief as it is, this intermediate piece sharpens reaction speed in the fingers.
Forty intermediate-level daily studies by Czerny, suited for everyday practice of a variety of techniques.
