Description
No. 14 from Czerny's Op. 337 daily studies stands out within the set for its density, cramming 1,801 notes into 65 seconds. Racing through the fast passagework with an even touch calls for real fingertip agility. Playing a few of these in succession also makes an effective warm-up before tackling larger works such as the "School of Velocity," Op. 299. Although rated intermediate, keeping focus and stamina to the very end is no small task.
Forty intermediate-level daily studies by Czerny, suited for everyday practice of a variety of techniques.
