Description
No. 12 from Czerny's "40 Daily Exercises," Op. 337, packs about 1,435 notes into roughly 52 seconds. The dense, rapid figuration demands nimble fingerwork that keeps moving without breaking stride. Since the set contains 40 similarly built pieces, it also works well as a rotating daily study, one number at a time. Though marked intermediate, sustaining the tempo throughout calls for real concentration.
Forty intermediate-level daily studies by Czerny, suited for everyday practice of a variety of techniques.
