Description

This F major minuet features an expansive, flowing melody. Longer than similar minuets at about two minutes and 541 notes, it demands more sustained control despite its simple triple-meter dance form. The melody and bass move in a conversational way, making it useful for developing balance between the hands at the intermediate level.

The minuet, an elegant triple-time dance popular in the Baroque era, evoking the refined atmosphere of a courtly ball.
