Description

One of the minuets from the Notebook for Anna Magdalena Bach. Its relatively dense note count reflects a more active melodic line than some of its companion pieces, while still preserving the balanced phrase structure typical of Baroque dance music.

The minuet, an elegant triple-time dance popular in the Baroque era, evoking the refined atmosphere of a courtly ball.
