Description
The twenty-second prelude, in G minor, is a short, fiery piece in which powerful left-hand octaves surge upward against an intense right-hand melody. Its final bars, marked to be played very loudly, are especially forceful and call for considerable power in the performer's touch.

Frédéric Chopin (1810-1849)

He poured his longing for his homeland into mazurkas and polonaises, while his ballades and etudes combine poetic melody with harmonic innovation.
