Description
No.11 is a sizable study at 90 seconds and 1,685 notes, one that rewards patient, thorough practice. Keeping a steady speed over such a span requires overall technical control, including posture and arm use, not just finger dexterity. It builds the kind of stamina intermediate players will later need for performing longer pieces.
Forty studies by Czerny that build the technique for fast passagework, developing finger independence and agility.
