Description
This D major invention has a bright, buoyant energy. Its figuration passes lightly back and forth between the hands, giving the contrapuntal exercise an unusually pleasant forward momentum. With a moderate note count and relaxed tempo, it is comfortable for practicing the careful hand-off of voices between hands.
