Description
Placed last among the fifteen Two-Part Inventions, this B minor piece closes the set with a weightier sonority than most of its companions. The two voices interlock tightly as the work draws to its conclusion. Its figuration moves fairly quickly, testing the player's ability to sustain focus and clarity in the dialogue between the hands to the very end.
