Description

This second movement of Sonatina No. 2 lasts just over two minutes with 1,121 notes, making it one of the more technically demanding movements in the set. Its writing calls for both rapid motion and musical depth at the same time, and it stands as the most advanced movement within Sonatina No. 2.

Compact piano works that teach sonata form on a smaller scale, often used as a stepping stone toward full-length sonatas.
