Description
Written around 1827 while Chopin was still in Warsaw, this waltz reflects a bright A-flat major sound and a light triple-meter dance rhythm typical of salon music. Though smaller in scale than his later concert waltzes, it showcases the flowing melodic lines characteristic of his youthful style.

Frédéric Chopin (1810-1849)
