Dating from around 1840, this is a modest waltz in E-flat major. Its bright key setting carries a simple, appealing melody. Both in duration and note density it remains compact, offering a more casual, unpretentious character than Chopin's grander concert waltzes.

Frédéric Chopin (1810-1849)
