Description
Étude Op.10 No.5, nicknamed the Black Keys étude, is played almost entirely on the black keys with the right hand. It calls for a particular finger control within the keys' narrow spacing, producing a bright, sparkling sound throughout. Its brisk tempo and high note count demand real dexterity, though the result is a dazzling and approachable listen.

Frédéric Chopin (1810-1849)
