Description
"Les Lanciers" is by Feliks Janiewicz, a Polish-born violinist and composer who spent much of his career in Britain. True to its title, referring to lancer cavalry, the piece has a dance-like, march-inflected bounce. At about a minute long, it gives intermediate players a compact exercise in keeping a brisk tempo and crisp rhythmic articulation.
A broad collection of standalone piano pieces not belonging to any specific set, offering hundreds of varied character pieces to explore and compare.
