The Countess of Farnham's Waltz

Paolo Spagnoletti

DifficultyIntermediate
Duration1:00
Notes334

Description

A waltz by Spagnoletti whose title suggests a dedication to nobility, reflecting the elegant, light triple-time dance style popular in the social circles of its day. Though only about a minute long, it includes decorative passages throughout, making it a good study piece for intermediate players learning the idiom of the classical waltz.

Waltzes in elegant triple time, including Chopin's concert waltzes alongside works by a range of other composers.
