Description
This etude concludes Rimsky-Korsakov's four-piece collection for piano, Op. 11. While functioning as a technical study, it retains the melodic beauty typical of Romantic piano writing. At an intermediate level, it asks for both evenness in fast passagework and a singing sense of melody.
A collection of études by various composers, including Chopin's famous "Revolutionary" Étude, designed to build finger independence and expressive technique.
