Description
Written in 1912, these three preludes bear the whimsically absurd subtitle 'for a dog.' In contrast to the humorous title, the music itself is spare and meditative, with unadorned harmonies creating a quiet, still atmosphere. At around three minutes with just over 1,000 notes, it requires restrained touch from advanced players.
