Description
The second of the Duettos from Clavier-Ubung III, this F major piece has a bright character. The two voices constantly chase one another, and compared to the first Duetto it is busier and more active, demanding greater technical balance between the hands. At nearly three minutes with close to 1,500 notes, it combines contrapuntal density with real momentum, suiting advanced players.
