Description
The third of the Duetto set, in G major, features a light, dance-like theme passed between the two voices. Its clear tonal center is paired with tightly woven part-writing characteristic of Bach. At about two and a half minutes with over 1,400 notes, it demands independence between the hands and precise rhythm, making it useful contrapuntal practice for advanced players.
