Description

This is a piano arrangement of one of the orchestral entr'actes from Bizet's opera 'Carmen.' Transferring the original's lyrical, wistfully beautiful melody to the piano, it preserves the mood of the orchestral version, tinged with the exotic Spanish atmosphere of the story. Suited to intermediate players, it calls for a singing melodic line balanced against a delicately voiced accompaniment.

A broad collection of standalone piano pieces not belonging to any specific set, offering hundreds of varied character pieces to explore and compare.
