This polonaise in G minor appears in the notebook for Anna Magdalena Bach. Some attribute it to Bach's son Carl Philipp Emanuel rather than to Johann Sebastian himself, but either way its minor-key melody carries a memorable touch of melancholy. With few notes and a duration of under a minute, it is accessible to beginners.
