Description
"Les Graces" (The Graces), by an unknown composer, takes its title from the graceful goddesses of Greek mythology, and its melody is correspondingly elegant and light. Though intermediate in level, it is brief, calling for tasteful ornamentation and smooth phrasing to convey the refined character of Classical-era salon music. Anonymous as it is, the piece reflects the good taste of domestic music-making of its time.
A broad collection of standalone piano pieces not belonging to any specific set, offering hundreds of varied character pieces to explore and compare.
