Description
A waltz by Ravi Kumar built on the traditional triple-meter dance form, condensing a light, flowing melody into just over two minutes. With around 453 notes, it favors rhythmic momentum and bounce over density. It is a compact intermediate-level piece, and where the performer places the weight within each triple-meter bar shapes the whole character of the dance.
Waltzes in elegant triple time, including Chopin's concert waltzes alongside works by a range of other composers.
