This Rondo, WoO 48, was written around 1783 during Beethoven's Bonn years, when the composer was still in his early teens. Rather than technical display, it centers on straightforward, singing melodic lines, offering a glimpse of the young Beethoven absorbing the Classical style. At around two and a half minutes with nearly 1,300 notes, it is compact yet calls for clean, well-articulated playing, placing it among the pieces suited to advanced players.
