A companion piece to WoO 48 from around 1783 during Beethoven's Bonn years, this early rondo shares a similar scale and style, built around simple, lightly ornamented melodic lines. It carries the character of a study piece from the young composer's formative years. At just over two minutes with about 1,200 notes, close in scale to its companion, it still calls for steady rhythmic control, suiting advanced players.
