Description
This is the piano part from the third movement of Piano Trio Op. 11, "Gassenhauer." Borrowing a theme from a popular opera of the time, it takes the form of variations that shift character with each new statement. Packed with notes across roughly five and a half minutes, it requires advanced-level facility in switching technique and touch smoothly from one variation to the next.
