Napolitan Dance (Swan Lake)

Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky

DifficultyAdvanced
Duration1:29
Notes885

Description

A piano arrangement of the Neapolitan Dance, one of the character dances from Act III of the ballet Swan Lake. Originally featuring a cheerful trumpet solo, its bouncing tarantella-like rhythm evokes the heat of southern Italy. At about a minute and a half but note-dense, it requires advanced technique to keep its bouncing staccato light and precise.

A broad collection of standalone piano pieces not belonging to any specific set, offering hundreds of varied character pieces to explore and compare.
