Alexander Glazunov (1865-1936) was a Russian composer who carried forward the late-Romantic style of his teacher Rimsky-Korsakov. As director of the St. Petersburg Conservatory, he mentored a younger generation of composers, including Shostakovich. This site features his short piece 'Rêverie.'
