Description
Written in 1786, the same year as K.485, this rondo presents a graceful F major theme that returns between contrasting episodes. It was later incorporated as the finale of the Piano Sonata K.533/494, though it also stands well as an independent piece. At about seven minutes with over 3,000 notes, it calls for elegant, singing phrasing.
